When: August 30, 2017 02:00 PM until 04:00 PM Eastern Time Zone
Held at the Suffolk Children's Center. This workshop focuses on helping parents understand that children need help getting ready to read. Before children can learn to read, they must develop early literacy skills. Learning these skills begin at birth and have a long term impact on children's reading achievement and academic success. Children who enter school with well developed early literacy skills have an advantage; they are ready to learn to read! Register for the training and/or request transportation assistance by Thursday, August 24th. Lunch will be provided.
