Smithfield Head Start Transition

The Smithfield Head Start Center held a transition ceremony and field day for the children who will be moving on to kindergarten in the fall. It was a fun day for the children and parents!

This is one of the eight locations of the Children’s Center. It offers the Head Start program, for which families can apply based on income and other eligibility requirement. The Children’s Center is a nonprofit agency focused on birth to age 5 in Western Tidewater, Virginia.
