The Obici Healthcare Foundation and The Children's Center are delighted to invite you to an event celebrating our Mental Health Education and Support Program. Please join us Tuesday, April 28th at Paul D. Camp Community College Regional Workforce Development Center for an evening of dining and learning, as our extraordinary guest speaker, Dr. Nancy Welch shares her story.
Dr. Nancy Welch received the Marian P. Whitehurst Women in Leadership Award in December from the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. She is currently the Director of the Western Tidewater Health Department.
Each participant will receive a free copy of Dr. Welch's astonishing book “Healing Emotional Wounds", which chronicles the healing journey of their family.
Guests will enjoy a delightful dinner and an opportunity to dialogue and connect with others in our community working to improve the lives of all affected by mental illness. This will be an evening of celebration, connection and hope. Dr. Welch will be available to sign copies of her inspiring book.
This is a free event that includes dinner and Dr. Welch’s book. Dinner begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by Dr. Welch’s healing experience.
