You’ve put your trust in us. That’s a big deal.

Our Community

We are grateful that you’ve entrusted us with your children, and we take that responsibility seriously. But we don’t care only for the little ones; we serve the whole family, offering resources to help you as parents and caregivers.

The Children’s Center is a place for you to meet other caregivers, to find community, and to belong.

Calendar

Calendar

Keep track of all the important Children’s Center happenings, including upcoming closings, early dismissals, and more. Our interactive calendar allows you to sort by program or center and download relevant events to your own calendar app. You can also download full, school-year calendars to print and post at home.

Menus

Menus

Our children benefit from nutritious meals prepared on site with plenty of veggies, fruits, and whole grains. We eat family style: Children and teachers sit together at tables, serve themselves from child-size platters, pour drinks from small pitchers, and share thoughts and experiences as they eat. Find out what we’re eating this month.

Notifications

Notifications

Our instant-alert system notifies parents and caregivers when we want to convey something urgent about safety, closings, or any critical situation. You can sign up for text, email, and voice alerts to receive real-time messages from the Children’s Center. Also, be sure to review our Inclement Weather Protocol (below, under Stay Safe) so you’ll have a heads-up on how we handle weather events.

Stay Healthy

We work together with our families to keep everyone safe and healthy. This includes giving each child a brief daily health check in order to promote the healthiest possible environment for all children.

General Guidelines

  • Hand washing is the best way to limit the spread of germs. We have children frequently wash their hands while at school.
  • We ask children and staff to stay home from school or work if they are sick, even if symptoms are mild, and to seek advice on testing and treatment from their doctor.
  • If kids get sick while in our care, we will arrange for them to be picked up.
  • Children who have been ill may return to school if they are symptom- and fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

COVID-19-related Guidelines

  • We screen children, staff, and visitors for symptoms of COVID-19 upon entering our schools. Those who don’t pass the screening will not be allowed to enter.
  • We encourage all staff, parents, and children in our programs to remain up to date with their COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Because things change periodically, we continue to relay isolation and quarantine recommendations to our school community. We will also notify staff and parents of cases of COVID-19 within the school community.
  • In the case of COVID-19 infections, we will advise families on when children can return to school.

Stay Safe

When weather conditions become extreme, safety is always our top priority. Generally, our centers will be closed or delayed for inclement weather when local school districts are closed or delayed, but you should always check our website, Facebook page, and text or ClassDojo alerts for updates.

  • We will make decisions regarding Educational Childcare based on staffing and weather conditions.
