Give Local 757 is April 23rd!
We nurture and educate children and their families! Our Annual Giving Day is April 23rd! We look forward to once again participating in the Give Local 757 event where tons of nonprofits in Southeastern Virginia will rally to raise funds for their missions!
This year, we are asking for our community to join us in supporting our Early Care & Education program! Unlike our Head Start programs community childcare programs operate directly from donations, grants, and parent fees. Many working parents do not qualify for our Head Start programs! This licensed program provides high-quality education incorporating the STREAMin3 curriculum. We want to continue to provide this program for our community, and we need your help!
If you would like to support us with a monetary contribution, simply click DONATE below! Other ways to help include spreading the news! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors about our mission! You can also give a donation in honor or memory of a loved one.

We have a variety of ways you can support our mission to nurture and educate children and their families.
Donate
Your donation helps us serve children from the classroom to the home. Charitable donations can be made in memory, in honor, or in recognition of someone, and can also be designated to a specific program or building.
Fulfill a wishlist
Our teachers know exactly what children need to explore, learn, and grow. Help them enhance their space with enriching toys, games, and tools. Items will be shipped directly to the classroom!
Adopt a classroom
You can sponsor a fun class activity or project with a one-time donation of $50 or more. Our students will send you a personalized thank-you note, and we’ll give you a shout out on Facebook!
The Children’s Center is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.
The Children’s Center is a partner with United Way South Hampton Roads and United Way Franklin Southampton Area. You can designate your United Way or Combined Virginia Campaign to us at Agency #5076!

The Virginia Neighborhood Assistance Program provides tax incentives for individuals who donate $500 or more to The Children’s Center in a 6 month period.
